Thanks for taking time to comment on my paintng. The best advice I can give is to jump in and start painting....Buy the best material you can afford. I think any paper under 140 lbs thick( that's an art term for watercolor paper and art supply stores will know what that means) is not worth buying. Experience is what makes you better. Like anything, you'll learn something new from each painting you do. You may like acrylics as they are more forgiving but I can only advise about watercolor. I looked at your gallery and you have some talent. Your drawing is very good. That is the basis for good painting...what you paint has to look real( unless you paint abstracts etc..) And if you can draw, that is a hurdle you don't have to learn. Best of luck, and just jump in and give it a go....I have a feeling you will do well.

thanks for the advice ill remember about the paper :) and your right I started improving fairly quickly once i just kept going. around tuesday Ill upload two fat zombie clowns tounging each other. lol my group likes my wierdness of clown porn and i do see a big improvement I loove painting!
